Working together as a coalition towards a
healthy community response to HIV and AIDS

CCHA is a community network of governmental and non-governmental organizations and individuals living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in the Calgary region. We meet with our membership once a month and focus on the following key strategies in our collaborative efforts to address HIV in the Calgary region:

• Networking
• Supporting each other’s work & events
• Holding collaborative events (e.g. World AIDS Day)
• Identifying and discussing current issues related to HIV/AIDS
• Forming working groups focused on specific issues e.g. STI Testing
• Conducting research (e.g. housing and HIV study)
• Carrying out advocacy and public policy work
